With 6 months preparation, the Chinese delegation organized by JL Consulting together with Ministry of Agriculture International Cooperation Department attended the fifth Chilean Agriculture Investment Forum from June 9 to June 16, 2012. The Chinese delegation team member included Vice Secretary-General of the Ministry of Chinese Agriculture Mr TONG Yue, National Marine Department, responsible persons from various industrial associations and 12 Chinese companies with total 22 people.
During the 5th Chile Agriculture Investment Forum, Chile government attached great importance to our Chinese delegation, and Chilean Minister of Agriculture Mr Mayuer met the delegation in person. The local organizer invited the delegation to visit the Chile largest port city - Purto Montt, the largest salmon seed incubation base(Salmonesriocoihue）and the largest salmon processor (Trusal). Besides that, the organizers held a Chilean Aquaculture Industry Seminar for Chinese delegation and arranged face-to-face meetings for each Chinese company. Most of these Chinese companies were very satisfied for these activities.
JL consulting organized this forum with great success in Chile for both Chinese and Chilean companies. It offered a great opportunity for both sides to understand each other and it pave the road for future business cooperation in the Agriculture and Aquaculture industry. This forum was especially valuable for the Chinese companies to have an effective access to the global market. |
